The Top 5 Facebook Profile Red Flags

1 Feb

I’m sure all of you have read our Feature story about Facebook. If not, read it HERE.

Let’s get down to a little more detail… Here are the TOP 5 Facebook Profile RED FLAGS.

1.  Taking pictures ONLY for the purpose of updating your Facebook Profile pic

You’re missing the point, and the world around you. RED FLAG.

2.  Too many pics of drinking/partying.

Sure, we all love to party. Nothing wrong with that. SOME pics scattered about of you drinking from a giant Grey Goose bottle are acceptable. But if you upload pics like this every weekend… RED FLAG. These actions are NOT cool, and in fact borderline retarded when you consider that current and future employers, potential love interests, etc. may be viewing your FB Profile at any time.

3.  Updating status every hour with random crap.

If you are are logging into FB and updating your Status every hour… RED FLAG. No one (normal) cares what you had for lunch… and no one (normal) cares about the cute crap your dog just did. Get off FB and do something more productive with your free time.

4.  Every pic has the same kissy lips face.

A picture is worth a MILLION words (*crying)

5. Have more than 500+ friends.

If you have more than 500 friends… RED FLAG.  NO ONE (normal) REALLY has more than 200 FB Friends and Contacts. Who are you trying to impress? Are you in a competition to prove popularity? Or do you simply socialize a little too much? Either way… RED FLAG.

That is all for now.

Love yallz…

Hi socially accepted, ok so using your 700 friends with your BA in comm shouldn’t be RED FLAGGED. It’s business!!… Exceptions to all rules.
      Can be friend number 701?

      Thanks for your input

    Totally agree with 1-5

“Are you in a competition to prove popularity?”
EXACTLY! How many of those 500+ will lend you money or actually give you a lift when your car break down at 2:00 am?

Business should be separate from personal. period.

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a bit of evaluation on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast as a result of I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! However yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I really feel strongly about it and love studying more on this topic. If potential, as you turn into experience, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Large thumb up for this weblog publish!
